Located on the campus of Vernon College, the physical address is 4600 College Drive, Vernon, TX 76384.

Accessibility

Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask a Docent (volunteer guide) for assistance.

Wheelchairs cannot leave the Museum’s secure area.

Pets are not allowed.

Motorized scooters are allowed.

Photography

Flash photography is prohibited. Ask a Docent (volunteer guide) if there are photography restrictions in the special exhibits.

Younger Visitors

Chaperones must remain with younger visitors when in the exhibit gallery and Gift Shop.

The Museum offers reduced rates to school groups if the field trip has been scheduled through Visitor Services at least 1 month in advance. Field trips are available Tuesday – Friday during normal business hours. School field trips are defined as requests from teachers who teach students in grades K – 12 attending recognized schools (public, private, charter, home school, etc.) during the academic school year.

Non-school groups should visit the Group Visits page for scheduling information.
School groups are admitted into the exhibit galleries at a rate of 30 students per 30 minutes. If the school group is larger than 30 students, the group will have divided admission times so plan accordingly.
The Museum requires 1 adult per 10 students. Additional teachers and chaperones may purchase reduced rate admission tickets for $4.00 each.
